May 19 让我们点燃烛光，为512地震遇难者默哀。Dear CSSA Members， We’d like to thank all of you for your support in our fund raising campaign for the earthquake calamity in China. As many have suggested, we will still set up the donation booth outside the Union Building from Monday until this Thursday (22nd May). However on Thursday, our booth will only run from 2:00 to 4:00pm, and from 4:00pm onward we will be holding a Candle-Light memorial, to commemorate those who were lost in the earthquake disaster. This memorial is open to public, and will be held in both Mandarin and English.

March 11 Movie NightCSSA will be organising another movie night this coming Friday.
Movie will be showing is “The Warlords” 《投名状》, directed by Peter Chan 陳可辛, starring Andy Lau 刘德华, Jet Li 李连杰, Takeshi Kaneshiro 金城武 and Jinglei Xu 徐静蕾。A heroic tale of three blood brothers and their struggle in the midst of war and political upheaval. It is based on "The Assassination of Ma," a Qing Dynasty story about the killing of general Ma Xinyi.

June 27 LAN partyCSSA is organising a LAN Party this Saturday, 30th June. It is basically a party of computer games, where people bring their own computers and play network games. The games that we will be depend on majority’s preferences. Here are few options: StarCraft, Counter-Strike, WarCraft 3, Need for Speed, etc. Venue: JD101 (John Dedman Mathematical Science Building) @ ANU PS. Bring your own computer, preferably with wireless network card; power cord; a network cable in case you don’t have wireless, we do have few spare network cables but the numbers are limited. May 06 2007 AGMCSSA’s Annual General Meeting will be held between 14:00 - 16:00, at MCC6 in ANU on Friday, 18th May.

Visiting National Museum of AustraliaCSSA committee is organizing a group activity to visit the National Museum of Australia. The National Museum of Australia opened to the public in March 2001 in Canberra. It encompasses nearly every aspect of Australian life and culture from its geography, prehistoric history, Aboriginal first inhabitants to white settlement and subsequent development, and its future. In our guided tour, we will mainly visit the five permanent exhibitions:
